Trenner & Friedl recently unveiled its Duke loudspeaker, an extraordinary piece of audio kit priced at $130,000.

One of the highlights of the system is an ultra-rigid, diamond diaphragm supertweeter which fires upwards into a Swarovski-crystal disperser, creating a 360-degree radiation pattern.

Other features include fiberglass-reinforced paper-cone woofers as well as hand-felted sheep’s wool which is used for dampening material.

Measuring five feet tall, the Duke weighs 284 pounds and the manufacturer will fly anywhere in the world to set it up.
