Oftentimes cutting edge designer fashion can cost quite expensive. Getting the latest runway looks can leave you with empty pockets. This is where a woman’s creativity and flexibility comes in. Being stylish means being resourceful as well, looking for affordable finds and cheap trendy dresses is a skill that can save you money while being fabulously fashionable. Here are a few tips to help you look your best while being on a budget:

Look for quality finds on bargain – this means you have to be more meticulous when picking out clothes. Pay close attention to the make of the dress, particularly the finishing touches like buttons, appliqués, buttons and seams. Well-made clothing, even if it is cheap can look really expensive.

Focus on the Fabric – fabric plays a big part in choosing garments, it can mean everything when it comes to flowing and hanging properly on your body. If possible, stick to wearing natural fabrics with less than 20% synthetic materials. They are easier to care for; they last longer and cling better to the body.

Splurge on accessories – whether it is a piece of trendy jewelry, handbag or shoes, expensive accessories can add more impact to your wardrobe even if you are wearing something simple. Think of these items as investment pieces that you can wear season after season regardless of the current trend.

Black Chic – Black is always the fashionable color of choice. It can make you look chic and timeless if worn properly. A black blouse or trendy dress can take you anywhere from casual to formal with the right accessories.

Mix and Match – update your look by matching classic pieces with the current style. Breath a new life to a classic pencil cut skirt by pairing it of with a trendy top. Cheap trendy dresses can also be matched with classic stiletto heels and color complimenting scarf to give you a more sophisticated look.

Everything in Moderation – this applies to clothing as well. Although some women like wearing short trendy dresses, keep in mind the places and occasions they will be worn at. Wearing something too tight and short can make even an expensive dress look cheap; the same goes for clothing that are just too loose and long. Buy cheap trendy dresses that are tailored for your size and body shape to get the best flattering look.
