Chopard is as well-known for its exceptional jewelry and
watches as it is for hosting fabulous evening events. In May 2011, Chopard will
outdo itself by inviting the stunning burlesque dancers of the Crazy Horse to
perform at the company’s traditional Cannes
evening.
With their smoldering gazes and lithe, mesmerizing moves,
the dancers from the legendary Crazy Horse will be performing on the Croisette
especially for Chopard. The iconic Parisian cabaret, which will be celebrating
its 60th anniversary this year, has even developed a mini-show,
christened “Crazy Diamonds”, for the occasion. The glamorous ‘50s theme of the
evening will see dancers donning Chopard creations and charming the Cannes
audience in an exquisite interplay between bare skin and scintillating
jewels.
Commenting on the sexy collaboration, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele,
Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director said: “Like Chopard, the Crazy
Horse is a creator of dreams. Our two companies have raised beauty and
seduction to an art form.”
“It seemed like the most natural thing in the world to
invite them to join us for an evening dedicated to glamour and femininity. As
the name indicates, Happy Diamonds are a girl’s best friends.”
