Uniqlo Designer Collaborations

What: Uniqlo has a whole new line-up of designer collaborations coming out in the next few months.

The Lowdown: There will be 9 designers added to the spring list including Costello Tagliapietra (April 21), Charlotte Ronson (May 5), Vena Cava (May 12) and Zechia, Tiny Dinosaur, Suzuki Takayuki, Theatre Products, Nine, and Double Standard Clothing. Each of these designers will produce 6 pieces all below $29.99.

What We Say: This makes us somewhat giddy. UNIQLO is already a fabulous place to buy inexpensive basics–not to mention they are huge donators to Japan’s Disaster Relief–but to have great, normally way expensive designers produce affordable apparel is great news. We’re no stranger to designer collaborations, what with everyone and their mother doing them now (not that we’re complaining), but its exciting to see some new designers get involved that other stores like H&M, Forever21, Target, etc. haven’t used yet. If you don’t have a UNIQLO near you, check out their website and shop there.
