Russian billionaire Yuri Milner has sealed the purchase of a $100 million mansion in Los Altos Hill, California. Complete with a ballroom, screening room, wine cellar, gym, spa and pools, the lavish French-style chateau overlooks San Francisco Bay and is a sprawling 25,000 square foot.  

The sale is believed to be one of the largest in U.S. history for a single-family home. Besides founding internet investment firm Digital Sky Technologies, the 49-year-old Milner is also chairman of Mail-ru Group and a big investor in Facebook Groupon.

Mr. Milner has no immediate plans to move into the mansion, spokesman Leonid Solovyev told The AP.
