British luxury car-maker Aston Martin and Canadian luxury
phone manufacturer Mobiado are teaming up for an exclusive collection of mobile
phones. To be launched in May this year via select premium outlets, the
collaboration marks Aston Martin’s foray into the dynamic electronics sector.

A preview of the collection was shown at the ongoing watch
and jewelry exhibition BaselWorld, where a see-through, solid sapphire crystal
concept phone was revealed. Dubbed the CTP002, this exquisite, platinum-clad touch-screen
model is a synthesis of futuristic design and functional technology, serving as
the ‘key’ to your Aston Martin vehicle and automatically unlocking its doors as
you approach.

Integrated cameras in your Aston Martin can also be set to
periodically update Facebook and Twitter with videos, photographs and
information about passing landmarks and cities, making the concept phone a true
product of the social media age.
