This Monday, Burberry is to stream its live fashion show on the 32-metre, digital, Coca Cola screen in London’s Piccadilly Circus. You can also see the live show here on Luxury Insider, at 4pm GMT.
Burberry becomes the first brand to live stream an event on the famous London landmark, and what’s more, the show will also be streamed to over 150 countries online and at 40 live events. A key component of those 40 live events is that the show will be streamed globally in every Burberry flagship store from Boston to Beijing.
The show itself celebrates the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, and will be held in London’s Royal Park of Kensington Gardens.
Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative Officer, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing the Burberry show to our widest audience yet in an immersive, interactive and entertaining experience.”
“We have always used digital communication to deepen our connection with the customer and allow people all over the world to experience Burberry no matter where they are.”
“Whether you are at home online, watching in Piccadilly Circus, using a mobile device or in our store in Beijing everyone will be able to feel the energy and attitude of the brand and the excitement of the show.”
Pieces from the collection will be available to buy online after the show for up to seven weeks.
