The Leica Titanium M9 is the gleaming end-product of an exclusive collaboration with famed automobile designer Walter
de’Silva, responsible for the innovative design concepts in the latest models
from the Volkswagen Group.

The chief designer and the
Audi Design Team got down to reinterpreting the design of the LEICA M9,
the result being a camera with an extraordinarily refined aesthetic that
retains
the characteristic features of Leica’s rangefinder cameras.

The Leica M9 Titanium is cast
from premium quality materials, with all visible metal elements of the camera
body being made from solid titanium. With durability and functionality in mind,
the exposed surfaces are also treated with an ultra-tough coating, and the
protective cover for the camera monitor is scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The
camera’s trim uses leather typically reserved for the interiors of Audi’s
premium automobiles, and blends seamlessly with the body’s titanium surface.

This
special edition is strictly limited to only 500 cameras worldwide, making it an
equally desirable object for both Leica connoisseurs and appreciators of
outstanding industrial design.
