On 5 March, the glittering Haute Couture Salons of 31
rue Cambon were bedecked for an intimate dinner party honoring Chanel’s head
designer and creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, and rising fashion icon and actress,
Blake Lively. 

Ms Lively, the current face of the House’s
Mademoiselle bag, wore a stunning silver-sequined tiered dress for the event.

The It Girl of fashion later rose to introduce Florence and the Machine, the guest performers for the night.
The band played on a stage set at the landing of the legendary mirrored
staircase leading to Mademoiselle Chanel’s apartment.

The
exclusive dinner’s guest list of hundred was comprised of luminaries from the
entertainment, fashion and style set, and included Christian Louboutin, Chanel
ambassadress Anna Mouglalis, Elisa Sednaoui, Lou Doillon, Joana Preiss, Cécile
Cassel, Jacques Audiard, Yi Zhou, Caroline de Maigret, Caroline Sieber, Leigh
Lezark, Jen Brill, Ellen von Unwerth and Mario Testino.
