For Christian Dior’s 2011 Spring-Summer collection presentation, the St.
Regis Singapore’s grand staircase was transformed to replicate the grand
staircase of the House of Dior in Paris, the
traditional location of the high fashion brand’s show presentations. During the
show presentation, which saw an emphasis in beautiful summery dresses in bright
jewel and plum tones, society ladies were treated to St. Regis’ signature afternoon
tea with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, served with classic
finger sandwiches and champagne, followed by beautifully designed French
pastries as a sweet note to end the afternoon.
