Berluti has tapped Alessandro Sartori, former creative director of Z Zegna at Ermenegildo Zegna, as the house’s new Artistic Director, who will design Berluti’s first read-to-wear line. This marks the Italian luxury shoemaker’s foray into the prêt-à-porter segment for men.

Commenting on his appointment, Sartori said in a press statement: “Since 1895, Berluti has always been the most prestigious shoemaker in the world. Its renown, its history, and the quality of its creations are unrivalled in the Men’s universe. I am extremely proud to have been chosen to develop this emblematic House. ” 

Stylish men everywhere will be waiting to see what Sartori comes up with for the august shoe house, whose new role commences this month. Watch this space.
