A long time vegan and animal rights activist, chief executive officer Jill Fraser was inspired to found Jill Milan for the fashion- and socially-conscious woman. Based in Italy, the chains on  Jill Milan’s bags are handmade by a Florentine artisan while the beads used on the Venezia Santa Sofia Murano Bead Clutch and Venezia Murano are crafted in Murano, nicknamed the Glassmaker’s Paradise for its 700 years of glassmaking history.   

Before the guilt of splurging $1300 on a handbag sets in, consider it as an act of philanthropy as a portion of the proceeds from sales of the Thoroughbred Bag (pictured below) goes to support programs that rescue horses from slaughter.
