The BMW 6 series convertibles have landed on Singapore
shores. Available in two cool iterations, the 640i and 650i are luxurious,
eye-catching predators, offering a smooth, comfortable and dynamic driving
experience.

Muscular, lithe and sporty, the new BMW 6 Series emanates athletic
elegance and sense-tingling sportiness from its exterior design. The large,
forward-slanting BMW kidney grille – its “shark nose” – lends the car an
exhilarating sense of surging forward, while a broad air intake, strikingly sculpted
bonnet and deep wheel arches hint at its powerful engine technology and
impressive road-holding.

The new BMW 6 Series Convertible is a 2+2 seater, with its
interior holding individually tailored seats for the driver, front passenger
and rear passengers. A signature BMW interior design element is the
driver-oriented cockpit layout. The central section of the instrument panel,
containing the iDrive system’s
Control Display, the central air vents and the controls for the audio system
and air conditioning, are all angled slightly towards the driver. The new BMW 6
Series Convertible also comes with an electrically powered soft-top roof with a
sleek “fin” fixture. The multi-layered roof – which has been optimized once
again in terms of acoustic properties and structural rigidity – offers
outstanding thermal insulation and enables the new convertible to be driven in
comfort all year round.

Other comfort-enhancing features include the 2-zone
automatic climate control with convertible mode, a 500 W 12 loudspeaker hi-fi
system Professional with CD player and AUX-IN socket, a multifunction sports
steering wheel with shift paddles, electrically operated front seats with
memory function and a rain sensor with integrated automatic driving lights
control. Among the highlights of the equipment list are sports or comfort
seats, comfort access system, Soft Close Automatic, rear-view camera, and the
