The MP4-12C at the new London showroom

McLaren has cranked open the flashy doors of its first global retailer boutique on the posh grounds of One Hyde Park. The opening ceremony was graced by McLaren racing superstars Lewis
Hamilton and Jensen Button, whose combined presence added megawatt
glamor to the event.

The flagship McLaren showroom, located at One Hyde
Park: The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, will be stocked with spares of every serviceable part
for the brand’s signature MP4-12C: what McLaren calls its ‘pitstop’ service concept that will ensure
fast, efficient repair. The opening also marks the exotic automaker’s plans to release 35
bespoke retailers
in 19 countries worldwide, all of which will offer customized service
for a range of McLaren cars, beginning with the ground-breaking MP4-12C
high-performance sports car.

Following the London launch, two more McLaren retailers for the UK will
open in Manchester on June 30, and Birmingham on July 5. The remaining
32 sites in the global
network will be operational by the end of this year, beginning in July
and
through the summer with the European network in Belgium, France,
Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland.
