As spring blossomed in the late days of March, Champagne
House Perrier-Jouët celebrated its own continued renewal with the unveiling of
Bi-Centenaire, the first heirloom champagne designed to mark the House’s
bicentenary.

Speaking at the private launch party, Chairman and CEO of
Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët Lionel Breton said: ‘We are very proud to celebrate
the Bicentenary of Perrier-Jouët with this unique champagne experience as a
real tribute to the house’s remarkable craftsmanship and passion for passing on
a sense of French art de vivre to future generations.’

The vintage champagne, the first in the Living Legacy
series, was carefully selected for its exceptional ageing potential by current
Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, only the seventh cellar master in the House’s
august 200 year-history.

The festivities were held at the lovely glass courtyard of
the iconic Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
An exclusive guest list of 200 film stars and dignitaries from the fine arts
circuit, including Alain Delon, Catherine Deneuve, France’s oldest Jeweler
Oliver Mellerio and famed Italian winemaker Marquis Antinori, were present to
witness the unveiling of a commissioned sculpture by American artist Daniel
Arsham, meant to evoke the vivacious essence at the heart of the Bi-Centenaire.
