For the second time in a row, Piaget partnered non-profit
organisation amfAR to host the glamorous, Inspiration Gala, held this year in Sao
Paulo. The glittering black tie affair honored Calvin
Klein’s Francisco Costa, who received the Piaget Award of Inspiration from Hollywood
actress Claire Danes in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to raising
HIV/AIDS awareness and advancing AIDS research.

Held at the breathtaking home of Event Chair, Felipe Diniz,
the gala dinner attracted a glitzy crowd. Faces to spot at the event included
Brazilian supermodels, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Isabeli Fontana
and Mariana Weckeft, along with Andrea Dellal, Lorenzo Martone, Sabrina Sato,
Preta Gil and Reinaldo Gianechini.

Guests were also treated to a stunning live performance by
Jennifer Hudson, who dazzled the ballroom in a vintage yellow gold and jade
cuff from Piaget and a pair of yellow gold diamond and gemstone earrings.

The event marks the fourth in the Inspiration Gala series as
well as the official kick-off for 2011. Piaget will also partner amfAR on the
three remaining events to be held this year, which will take place in New
York on June 14th at MOMA, followed by Paris
on June 23rd and Los Angeles in the
fall. To date, the Inspiration Galas have raised more than $1 million for AIDS
research.
