It was a festive weekend for Piaget in Palm
Beach last week, as the Swiss luxury watchmaker showcased
a fine jewelry presentation on March 18 at the Flagler
Museum, an intimate dinner party to
present the new Pilarà-Piaget team, and finally, the annual Piaget Gold Cup on
Sunday at The International Polo Club Palm Beach.

On Friday, Piaget’s CEO, Philippe Léopold-Metzger, and
President of Piaget N.A., Larry Boland, collaborated with charity partner
Lighthouse International to host an enchanting Garden Party, presenting the latest
collection of exquisite jewelry and timepieces at The Flagler Museum. The
town’s best and brightest were present, including co-hosts of the evening, Marc
and Melissa Ganzi, and Piaget’s polo ambassadors for North America,
Nic Roldan and Jeff Hall.

The following evening, Piaget hosted an intimate field-side
dinner at the International Polo Club Palm Beach to present the new
Pilarà-Piaget team, which included Bautista Heguy, Hilario Ulloa, Cristian
Laprida and Tomas Garcia del Rio, as well
as new general manager, Marcos Heguy. Players from the Pilarà-Piaget and Piaget’s North American teams toasted champagne
and enjoyed a fine meal under the full moon.

The weekend concluded with the final match of the Piaget
Gold Cup. Piaget kicked the day off with a traditional pre-match brunch,
followed by a private champagne reception at the IPC
Palm Beach. On display for the first time in the U.S.
were the latest editions to the Piaget Polo FortyFive collection, including two
new models in rose gold and titanium, one featuring Piaget’s manufactured
chronograph movement and the other equipped with Piaget’s in-house perpetual
calendar movement.

‘American Beauty’ actress Mena Suvari flew in for her very
first polo match, which ended with Audi emerging victorious over Lechuza Caracas in overtime with
a 10-9 win. The coveted Piaget Gold Cup was presented to Nico Pieres, who
was also the MVP for the night. Each player of the winning team received his very
own Piaget Polo FortyFive watch.
