With an unrelenting ambition to surpass past ranges, Royal Salute
presents their latest Tribute to Honour – a whiskey blend so rare that only Colin Scott,
creator and master blender, has tasted it. As homage to The Honours of Scotland
– the oldest set of crowned jewels in the British Isles – the Tribute to Honour
was conceived from the finest aged whiskies – at least 45 years old – in the Royal
Salute Vault at Strathisla. 21 bottles were created to coincide with Colin’s 21
years of expertise in blending.

“Chivas Brothers has a phenomenal archive of high-aged whiskies, some of
which, after decades of careful maturation, have acquired a rich intensity and
deep concentration of sumptuous characters. It is these very few whiskies which
I have personally selected to compose Tribute To Honour – this opulent and
rarest of blends,” Colin muses.

To up the visual experience a notch, the Tribute to Honour is presented
in a Garrad-dressed bottle. Hand-casted in black porcelain, the bejeweled bottle
is embellished with 413 flawless white and black diamonds. As one out of three
treasures that make up The Honours of Scotland, the Sword of State is
reincarnated here in all its diamond-crusted glory. Set in gold and silver, 22
carats of gemstone adorn the decorative collar.

Available from September 2011, the bottles are individually numbered and
priced at USD 200,000 excluding taxes. One of the 21 bottles will be kept in
the Royal Salute Vault.
