Lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang came to Singapore
recently for Men’s Fashion Week and organised an intimate dinner at
the Presidential Suite of the Fullerton Hotel. At this dinner, Shanghai Tang
Executive Chairman Raphael Le Masne de Chermont also welcomed three new members
to the elite circle of the Mandarin Collar Society – Satinder Garcha, Gaurav
Kripalani and Andre Chiang. Garcha is a property developer and captain of the Singapore
polo team; Kripalani is the Artistic and Managing Director of the Singapore
Repertory Theatre; and Chiang lends his name to his own restaurant, Restaurant
Andre. Le Masne is also the Founder of the Mandarin Collar Society, a society
that encourages men to free themselves from the stifling bonds of the necktie
and embrace the elegance of the mandarin collar.
