The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC), the oldest yacht club in Asia, has unveiled ambitious plans to upgrade its services to the tune of S$9 million.
The development will triple the RSYC’s dry berth facilities from 110 boats to 300 boats, adding to the 127 wet berths at its current West Coast Ferry Road location.
The plan will also double the number of accommodation suites from 32 to around 60, while other features will include a games room and gym as well as a slew of new restaurants and bars.
The expansion project will commence in the first quarter of 2011 with construction of the new dry berths to be completed within 6 months. Work on the new accommodation wing is expected to be completed by mid 2012.
