The Texas-based car manufacturer has released the images of their blazing red chassis number 03. Those with a penchant for speed would remember the craze surrounding the initial launch of the Venom GT.

Critically acclaimed by professionals within the industry, the Venom GT runs at a top speed of 267 mph and offers 1,200 horsepower. Based on the Lotus Elise/Exige, the idea for the supercar was conceived when John Hennessey, founder and president of Hennessey Performance, was invited by Road and Track magazine to compete in a shootout between the world’s fastest supercars back in 2007.  Upon winning the competition with the Venom 1000 Twin Turbo engine, Hennessey joked about making a lighter version of the original vehicle by putting the Venom 1000 Twin Turbo in the back of a Lotus Exige. The idea for a Vemon GT was thus born.
