The German-based T & A has unveiled their latest Solitaire CWT Series. Created for, and catering towards, the most demanding audiophile, the three luxury speakers, CWT 500, CWT 1000 (below) and CWT 2000 (above), are all based on the principle of the Cylinder Wave Transducer (thus, ‘CWT’). Customers could expect not only impeccable tonal balance, but also fine dynamics and fine resolution.  The damping of the speaker cone is very effective for all three models, thus eliminating any hint of resonance.

While CWT 500 (below), being the smallest of all three, has a rating of 300 Watt  (compared with 450 Watt and 600 Watt for CWT 1000 and CWT 2000), it has the ability to transmit the entire high-frequency range from 2 kHz to more than 40 kHz.
