In celebration of its iconic D-Bag, Tod’s hosted an exclusive cocktail to launch the “D Bag Retrospective Exhibition” at Pacific Mall, Hong Kong on March 31. The cocktail was well-attended with over 100 guests comprising media, business associates, VIP customers and well known personalities. Celebrated Malaysian actress Ms. Michelle Yeoh made a special appearance and personalized one of the D Bags with swallows and branches of peace as a gesture of support to those in need.

This unique D Bag will be auctioned off through silent bids during the Hong Kong and Singapore D-Bag Retrospective Exhibitions. The proceeds are to aid urgent relief efforts in Japan in response to the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster. Starting bid price is HKD 9,800.

In addition to illustrating the history and philosophy of the D-Bag, the exhibition presents the four major evolutions of the bag through specially designed modules. These include images of the “making of” process, videos of celebrities and animation of the artisans at work.
